Rachael Acello, LMFT, is the Senior Director of Training & Programs at Coro Southern California. With B.A. in Organizational Communication from Pepperdine University, and years of experience as a Community Mental Health Therapist, Rachael brings a unique blend of clinical insight and leadership acumen to her role at Coro. Her 20+ years of experience spans public, non-profit, health, and education sectors, where she has consistently focused on fostering personal and professional growth within teams.
In her current role, Rachael leverages her expertise in relational neuroscience, instructional design, and human systems to build and facilitate programs that help individuals and teams develop critical leadership skills. She is passionate about creating interactive spaces where participants can cultivate self and social awareness, collaborative capacity, and the confidence to navigate complexity with composure. Her focus on connection, reflection, practice and growth is central to Coro’s mission of empowering leaders to drive meaningful change in their communities.
Rachael is a proud alumna of the Coro Women in Leadership program and outside of work you’ll typically find her reading, walking, watching English Premier League football, or playing complicated board games with friends and family.
