Akeeb serves as Coro Southern California’s Manager of Programs and Operations, overseeing the financial and logistical aspects of Coro’s operational systems and existing programs.
Akeeb comes to Coro with several years of experience in accounting and financial management. He previously worked as an Accountant at Nogales High School where he developed and managed the discretionary budgets for all federal and state funds and as the Funding Manager at Foothill AIDS Project, a nonprofit that provided housing, transportation, nutritional, and mental health services for PLWH.
Akeeb received his B.S. in Finance and Economics from The University of Alabama. He currently resides in Claremont.
