Nicolas Zevallos currently serves as the Intergovernmental Affairs Deputy for Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

As a Coro Fellow, Nicolas was placed with the Riordan Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management, Karen Bass for Mayor, Daley Strategies, the Office of Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, and the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Homelessness Solutions.

Before Coro, he worked at the Bridgespan Group as a strategy consultant, where he advised nonprofit organizations, impact investment funds, and foundations to scale impact, enhance effectiveness, and improve impact measurement. Prior to that, he was selected as a Princeton in Latin America Fellow to work in Bogotá, Colombia as an Impact Associate for Global Partnerships, a $100M+ impact investing fund that works to expand opportunity for people living in poverty.

Nicolas is a first-generation Mexican- and Peruvian-American from Los Angeles who is passionate about advancing economic opportunity for all. He graduated from Yale University with distinction in May 2019 with degrees in Global Affairs and Economics.
