“My engagement with Coro began as a fellow in the paleoterrific class of 1976 in Los Angeles with post-graduate experience as Executive Director and Boardmember. I use so many of the lessons learned — and which I am still learning — about how to creatively uplift our community and the people and institutions which give it life, character, opportunity and challenge. How? Navigating uncertainty and difference, finding joy in common purpose and action, developing and actualizing empathy, ascertaining how to rise after loss to go forward; figuring out what the right questions are and pursuing the answers doggedly — all in service to leaving this campsite much better than we found it.”
